COTA (NSW) provides information on all matters of interest to older persons in NSW and those who work with them and care for them. COTA refers inquiries to the best source of information in NSW. Phone (02) 9286 3860.

Seniors Information Service (SIS)
The New South Wales Government runs a service called the Seniors Information Service that provides information and refferal on a range of topics to seniors and their friends and family. The service is operated by the same centre as NSW Seniors Card. To access SIS call 13 12 44 from inside NSW or, if you are interstate, call NSW Seniors Card on 1300 364 758 and tell them you have a Seniors Information enquiry.

The Northern Territory does not have a dedicated information and refferal service. People with enquires are encouraged to call the Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre on 1800 052 222 which will divert to their local centre, callers can ask to be transferred to a different centre if they are calling for another person. The Northern Territory Seniors Card line may also be able to assist with some enquiries and can be contacted on 1800 777 704, similarly, COTA may be able to assist (08) 8941 1004.
