ACATs provide information on suitable care options and can help arrange access or referral to appropriate residential or community care services such as Home and Community Care (HACC).

Our support group has been set up to provide support for people with cardiac conditions and their carers. We have only been operating for 2 months and initially this group was founded by the staff at the Redland Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Centre, who identified a need for support in the Bayside area. We have their full support but remain an independent group and not affiliated with the hospital nor are we associated with any other organisation and are totally non profit.
During this coming year we will have guest speakers at our monthly meetings which include a psychologist, health and fitness co-ordinator, cardiac specialist, pharmacist, members of the Redland cardiac rehab team etc.
Our meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Redlands RSL situated at 8 Passage Street Cleveland from 11am - 12pm. Contact for this group are

The Queensland Health BreastScreen Queensland Program is a population-based, public health program that offers free breast cancer screening and follow-up assessment services for women aged 50 to 69 years. This is the age group where research shows screening to be most beneficial. Women aged 40 to 49 years and 70 years and older can also attend if they choose.
