Central QLD & Wide Bay Events

The annual Capella Camel Races sees amateur competitors compete throughout the day for the grand final prize of $1000, trophy and sheer thrill of racing a camel in the Australian outback.  The camels are trained racing camels and all jockeys are strictly amateur.
This is the 5th year the camel races have been held and the main aim is to raise funds for local charities and other worthy local causes.  Entry Fee: Gold Coin Donation
